Free SambaFunk! class on Sunday April 24th, at Symbolic Dance & Fitness which is at 672 So Van Ness, SF, at 1:15 pm.  This is the same location as the thursday evening classes.Dancers’ Group presents the 2011 Bay Area National Dance Week (BANDW), running April 22-May 1, 2011 throughout the Bay Area.

BANDW is anticipating 400+ free events including classes, performances, open rehearsals, lecture demonstrations, and the popular kick-off of the festivities on Friday, April 22 in Union Square Park.

This page of theirs lists all of their free events, which is pretty long.  You’ll find SambaFunk! and King Theo about a third of the way down.
